Suited Man    listen

Hang up the tie, of the suited man
Sell the estate, of the suited man
Lower the box, of the suited man
Bury the bones, of the suited man
He has gone to the great boardroom in the sky
He is survived by the treasures his money could buy
Measure the worth of the suited man
Close the accounts of the suited man
Auction the cars of the suited man
Read the will of the suited man
Eulogize for the suited man
His faxes are still coming through, piling up on the floor
As the maintenance man replaces the name on his door
Measure the worth of the suited man
Suited man, your day is done
The past is past, and you’re money’s gone
Damage control for the suited man
Shred the reports of the suited man
Cover the lies of the suited man
Say your goodbyes to the suited man
His colleagues will miss him, but don’t you expect them to cry
He is survived by the emptiness he leaves behind
Measure the worth of the suited man.

The Wandering Eye   listen

I am the wandering eye
Framing you every time
I’m not a part of your design
I look where I like
You can’t begin to count the times
I’ve made you look absurd
I’ll bet you’d tear me from your head
if only you had the nerve
Maybe you should
I am the wandering eye
Meddling with your sight
When there are ladies to impress
I roll up inside
And when you need to be sincere
You’re suddenly cross-eyed
You’re so ashamed you’d like to cry
But not out of this eye
Maybe you should
I am the wandering eye
Watering with delight
When all your friends are on the left
I look to the right
And when your neighbor’s out of town
I look at his pretty wife
Maybe your will is becoming mine
Look at the kitchen knife
Maybe you should
I am the wandering eye
Hardwired to your mind
I’m sinking deeper all the time
Into your life
It’s getting harder to decide
Harder to fight
There’s only one recourse for you
But you’ve got to follow through
Maybe you should

Accessory to Man-napping   listen

I've been thinking, it'd be great to be you
so I borrowed your jacket and tie
and I borrowed your shoes
Then i worked on my face half the night
I got it just right
I could hardly distinguish between
myself and your pictures in my magazine
I went driving to your favorite bar
I fel complete in the seat
of your favorite car
then I waled through the door with your style
i flashed 'em your smile
then i mingled the way that you do
I'm a natural you
being you is such a wonderful way
to spend the day
and i think it should be this way to stay
what do you say?
I've been thinking, it's been great to be you
so I'm keeping your jacket and tie
I'm keeping your shoes
and i hope that one day your will see
that your life will be better off with me
but i'll visit you every day
bound and gagged in the basement, where you'll stay.

Animal Kingdom   listen

Mr. Tiger in the mighty Jungle
Do you feel like a feline?
When you really sink your teeth in to 'em
Can you feel that heart rate rising?
Mr. Owl in the lofty treetops
Do you feel like a bird of prey?
When you grab 'em with your open talons
Do you even feel an ounce of shame?
Who's the greatest hunter in the animal kingdom?
Alligator in the Southern swampland
Do you feel like a reptile?
When you really put the jaws onto 'em
Is it hard not to crack a smile?
Mr. Shark in the ocean waters,
Do you feel like the king of the sea?
When you really get the water blood red
Does it taste like a nectarine?
Who's the greatest hunter in the animal kingdom?
Are you ready to be eaten alive?
Are you ready to be eaten alive?
Are you ready to be eaten alive?
Are you ready to be eaten up alive?
Who's the greatest hunter in the animal kingdom?

Zygote Hits the Road

Zygote hits the road
Zygote hits the road
C’mon Zygote, it’s time to go
C’mon Zygote, you’re the embryo
Zygote hits the road
Zygote hits the road
C’mon Zygote, it’s time to go
C’mon Zygote, you’re the embryo
Zygote hits the road
Zygote hits the road
C’mon Zygote, it’s time to go
C’mon Zygote, you’re the embryo

Different in Town   listen

Let’s drink the red, slick back the head
And walk around on legs of lead
Let’s scan the town, scan the town
With eyes that slowly buckle down
Let’s take a right, slip out of sight
Surrounded within walls of white
With bone straight hair, give ‘em all a scare
We’re not us, we’re still back there
Mom we drank these, now we’re different in town
Mom we drank these, now we’re different
Let’s squint our eyes at static skies
With real eyes we realize
Scope the town, sneak around
And proudly wear our crazy crowns
Let’s go askew in groups of two
And find a place to follow through
In between the metal screens
Safe inside a fan machine
Mom we drank these, now we’re different in town
Mom we drank these, now we’re different
Town the town, the long way ‘round
The secret way to leave the ground
A different sound, the coughing clown
His handkerchief is red and brown

Omniciye

Many years ago with my hair in black braids
I wore the coloured war paint bold upon my face
My horse was waiting on the frozen riverbed
The steam from his nostrils disappeared around his head
I sat alone, sharpening my spear
The echo of the sliding stone filled up my ears
Time travels in infinite circles
Soon you will see
We have met many times throughout history
The moment was broken as the snow amplified
Every single footstep that the stranger tried to hide
I turned and saw a white man stumbling through the trees
My eyes were locked on him and his were on me
“Don’t be afraid,” he said with a smile
“I’m feeling ragged, can I sit with you awhile?”
Time travels in infinite circles
Soon you will see
We have met many times throughout history
Well I don’t trust white men; I’ve seen what they’ve done
And I saw by his side, a cavalry gun
But this one was different, it’s hard to describe
Something about him transcended time
So he laid his burden down and it sounds absurd
But we talked for hours there, without any words
Time travels in infinite circles
Soon you will see
We have met many times throughout history
The sun was sinking low and the air was so cold
I had to get back home, but before I could go
He wrapped some branches ‘round like a crown on my head
The he closed his eyes and here’s what he said…
“In another time, in another place
you’ll be a white man with a mark on your face.”
Time travels in infinite circles
Soon you will see
We have met many times throughout history

Black Silo

Down the dusty road we travel
Down the dusty road we go
Down the dusty road we travel
How many times have you seen this road before?
Down the dirty road we travel
Down the dirty road we roll
Down the dirty road we travel
How many times have you seen these trees before?
Down the country road we travel
Down the country road we go
Down the country road we travel
How many times have you seen this bridge before?
Down the gravel we will travel
Down the gravel we will roll
Down the gravel we will travel
How many times have you seen this road before?
Keep on driving ‘til you reach the Black Silo.

So Blue

Hello Mr. Brain
You’re the one upstairs
Why are you so slow today?
Hope you haven’t gone away
I’d be so blue without you
Hello Mr. Knee
and Mrs. Knee, downstairs
Why are you so weak today?
Hope you haven’t given way
I’d be so blue without you
Hello eyes of blue
Will I be without you too?
Why are you so dull tonight?
Hope it’s just the failing light
I’d be so blue without you
Well, I guess I see
It seems they’ve all run out on me
Time enough for lying down
Malfunctioning upon the ground
Now I’m so blue

Cain’s Country

Pull your coat around you
Whistle something sweet
You won’t see me coming
But I guarantee you’ll sense me
When the night is all around you
And a shadow’s on the moors
And the moon is full above you
You’ll find me on all fours
Salivating…
I’m hollow and I’m shady
I’m a walking willow tree
I’m a favorite at the kennels
‘cause they love to watch me eat
And If I leave the party
With a lady on my arm
You can bet you’ll find her
Ravaged on the lawn
come morning
Noises, so unnatural, follow you home
Follow you home
Clues, on the discarded bones, follow you home
Follow you home
At the tavern on the corner
The barkeep closes down
They’re gonna find him in the morning
Scattered all across the town
You’re never really certain
You remember it was dark
Did you see me in the bushes?
Was I running through the park?
It’s so hazy…
With your blankets wrapped around you
The moonlight fills your room
Can you feel the fog surround you?
Can you hear the muscles move?
And if you went to sleep
At quarter after ten
Then where’d you get this feeling
Like you’ve been out all night again?
You’re not crazy…
Clues, on the bones of my food, they’re looking for you
Looking for you
Policemen break into your room, looking for you
Could it be true?

The Hemorrhage Tent

I used to play the foos
But nowadays I’m just not able
He took my nerve away
I get the shakes when I’m near a table
Ever since that night
I woke up in the Hemorrhage Tent.
He challenged me to a game
I had to sign a legal waiver
Something deep inside
Told me not to sign that paper
My instincts were right
I woke up in the Hemorrhage Tent.
We let the ball roll in
I saw his eyeballs move around
His attack was fierce
I heard that dreaded spinning sound
I saw a flash of light
I woke up in the Hemorrhage Tent
When I came around
There were tubes all over me
There were rubber gloves
There were medical machines
I heard my mother say,
“Welcome to the Hemorrhage Tent.”

It’s a Bowievel   listen

Weasel in the grass, it's a bowievel
rustling in the brush, it's a bowievel
jumping up and down all by himself
fall into the river, doing well
look into the trees, it's a bowievel
see and you'll believe, it's a bowievel
watch out for the hunters of the woods
it's so hard to hide from Mr. Owl
and the chase is on...
weasel got away, it's a bowievel
what's a weasel anyway? it's a bowievel
jumping up and down all by himself

Bit Too Far   listen

We just took a few things a bit too far
you just took connections a bit too far
i just took myself a bit too far
we just took our senses a bit too far
it's hard to be a good man but im gonna try
it's hard to look in the mirror and say goodbye
we just took a few things a bit too far
he just took his face a bit too far
she just took her brandy a bit too far
we just took this death thing a bit too far
it's hard to be a good man but im gonna try
it's hard to look in the mirror and say goodbye.... right?
everybody into the basement
everybody into the field
everybody into the cabinet
everybody into the sea
everybody onto the pathway
everybody into the night
everybody onto the ceiling
everybody into the light
we just took a few things a bit too far
they just took perception a bit too far
i just my face a bit too far
i just a few things a bit too far
it's hard to live in a van but i gotta try
it's hard to look in the mirror and say goodbye
uh-oh
we just took the music a bit too far

Monkey Business  listen

in the heart of monkey business
thrusting through the mammals brain
whispering forbidden wishes
monkey business wins again
monkey screaming in the water
i'm beneath the banyan tree
i am eating red bananas
witnessing the tragedy
do you have the monkey syndrome
does the jungle seem insane
do you have the monkey genome
thrusting through your mammal veins
monkey screaming in the shadow
i'm beneath the canopy
i am using every signal
witnessing the feelings
monkey monkey
business business
